When finished shooting or before cleaning ensure that the gun is empty. Ensure the SAFETY is on (Red dot NOT visible)Remove the magazine by placing one hand below the magazine and pressing the magazine release button.To remove the cartridge in the barrel pull the slide to the rear, remove the cartridge and let the slide go slowly to the front.Hold the hammer with your thumb, pull the trigger and let the hammer go forward slowly with your thumb.
